Connection Status & Reconnecting
Once connected (by any method), Settings → Integrations → Connect WhatsApp becomes your control panel for the WhatsApp connection — view status, copy webhook details, refresh, or disconnect.
What's on This Page
Left column — Setup Guide A 4-step reference card (Register Phone Number → Click Connect → Authorize Access → Configure Webhook) plus a Need Help box and a Connection Status Notice that warns if the account isn't connected yet.
Right column — Connection
- WhatsApp Business card with a Disconnect button (once connected).
- Webhook Configuration card — read-only Webhook URL and Verification Token, each with a copy button. See Step 4 — Configure Webhook URL for what these mean.
- Connection card:
- Not connected: a single Connect Now button. Clicking it redirects your browser to Meta's OAuth login (full-page redirect, not a popup), then back to this page once you approve access.
- Connected: a green status card showing Phone Number ID, Registered Phone Number, WhatsApp Business ID, and Display Name, with Refresh Status and Disconnect buttons.
One-Click Connect vs. Embedded Signup
The Connect Now button on this page uses a simpler classic OAuth redirect — it does not open Meta's guided WABA-creation wizard described in Embedded Signup. Use it when:
- You already completed onboarding once and just need to reconnect.
- Your Meta Business Manager already has a WABA and phone number linked to this app.
For first-time setup with a brand-new WhatsApp Business Account, use Embedded Signup from onboarding or WA Chat → Integrate WhatsApp instead — it guides you through creating the business, WABA, and phone number inside the flow.
Disconnecting
Click Disconnect, confirm in the dialog, and Whoxa CRM deactivates the account. Message delivery stops until you connect again — existing conversation history is kept.
